Madame Donut pursued her dream by starting Donut Dynamite! on the island of Maui in Hawaii. Ever since graduating with a Certificate in Baking and Pastry Arts from the Culinary Institute of America in Napa, California, she always had the affinity for donuts. But not just a regular donut - she wanted to offer a different donut experience. One that would bridge the gap between the humble and the luxury, stir up the childlike joy that these treats bring and to satisfy the cultured taste of pastry connoisseurs.
Donut Dynamite! started with Madame Donut’s stubborn disposition and still perseveres today due to the same ingredient and grit. Beginning her journey with a small Donut Mobile (the superhero version of a food trailer) before she opened a Brick & Mortar Donut Shop in the small town of Wailuku and then pivoting to Pop Up Events and now, Donut Dynamite! has come to the Pacific Northwest to test out new palates.

Madame Donut is the very colorful Mastermind behind these unique, delectable donuts. Her goal is to inspire dynamic self expression through fearless artistry with the Donut as the canvas. She wields her superpowers and comes up with whimsical yet seriously high technique-centric creations.
Brioche is her favorite donut dough. It’s an enriched dough that even Marie Antoinette suggested the peasants must have if they didn’t have bread ("Qu'ils mangent de la brioche"). Madame Donut agrees with the great princess of Versailles sans the callousness, so she merged the humble and the luxurious by making brioche into the beloved donut - the kind that the elite and the common citizen can enjoy. Hooray!
Hailing from very humble, rural beginnings, Madame Donut only cooked with ingredients that were homegrown and that were sourced nowhere farther than where a water buffalo can travel to. Naturally, as she continues to mature as a Chef, she is steadfast in favoring fresh, local, whole ingredients.
Madame Donut painstakingly handcrafts each component of these donuts from scratch. Nothing goes on a donut out of a cereal box or out of a candy wrapper. Everything is handmade with both of her hardworking small and medium sized hands.
